Good Day,

I have bought a bed and mattress from Rochester in Witbank . on the day of the delivery(22 December 2011) I only received the bed with mattress and we made a follow up with the branch and we then told that we will receive the mattress @ a later stage since the warehouse is closed for the Christmas-break. We kept on making calls to the store and last story sold to us was that the Manager who made the sale to us is on leave and will only be back on the 10 January 2012. Upon his return I personally visited the store on the 13 January; the Manager-Ronald could not give me a valid answer he called the Head Office and left a message for Anashree. Following that my husband went again on the 16 January 2012 and he spoke to Anashree about the matter and she in return said there is nothing that they can do since we got the bed after the mattress sale was already over.n my complain is that I bought the bed because I saw that there was an extra mattress coming with it. Anashree told me that should I not keep the deal I can also cancel. For me that is a "don't care attitude" and no customer service at all.

I would appreciate your assistance in this regard.

We bought a lounge suite From Rochester in Woodmead and paid a deposit. Rochester called last week Tuesday to say the suite had arrived and I was away on business so asked them to send me an email and I would do an eft or come in and pay when I returned.

No email arrived so on Saturday, when back in Jhb (a mere 4 days later) I called to pay only to discover that they had sent a mail to the wrong email and that our suite had been sold to another customer.Our saleslady, Sharon, said that she'd see what she could do.We called back later only to find out that she had the afternoon off.Someone called James tried to help us with no luck.On Tuesday this week Sharon called to say that there was a suite coming from Nelspruit which would be delivered today (Thursday). I explained that I will be going on holiday the next day and she assured me that it would be delivered.

So today at 16:30 someone called because there is a "problem" with the delivery.

I am disappointed and angry that I bothered to pay a deposit for my order to be given to someone else and then to have promises made that are not kept.I will not order anything from Rochester again, their service is unreliable.
