Lay buy refund
I requested refund for my laybuy on the 28.01.2025 i was told it takes 10 days to be paid .after 10 i went to the store nothing was done with my paper work i went back on tuesday then promised to be paid on friday today its friday nothing happen.

Verified Buyer |No custmor service. Couch was to be delivered on 8 Nov. Try to resolve problem with Customer Service and branch in Mennlyn Mall, but they both couldnt tell me where the driver is. Still waiting.
Received a sms that couch will be delivered on the 8 of Nov. No delivery yet.
No response of branch manager, sales person (after sending an email) or customer service. No new message of re-arrangement of delivery date.
Haven't received a receipt yet.

My experience with this store, Greenacres, Port Elizabeth branch, is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. I bought a lounge that started sinking in 7 days.
The store took 4 months to fetch it. In July 2024, the lounge came back the same and was only collected in October for repairs. I told the sales ladies, Zintle and Lynne, that I do not want it again - I'd rather add money and buy another lounge. I added money on 26 November and received a call from Delray at the warehouse that they will deliver the new lounge on Friday, 29 November.
Up until today, 4 December, the new lounge hasn't been delivered. This is too much, guys, please deliver my new lounge. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ROCHESTER AGAIN.
I would like to be assisted in getting my lounge.

I bought a fabric couch worth R 17 000. This year marks only 4 years and the couch is horrible and pealing off.
I called for a complain and they told me they couldn't help. I am so broken. I followed all the instructions in terms of cleaning the couch.
This hurts me everyday. I went to Rochester with the trust that I will be buying another couch in 10 years or 15 years time.
Preferred solution: Fixing the couch. It's too soon that it would be in this manner.

There is a lot I can say to cut comments short. Don't purchase from them; the quality and customer service are really bad.
They're not even responding to emails, nor can they assist telephonically. They promise things they cannot deliver.
You will even seek legal advice because, in the end, you will realize they are big scammers. After paying, stay away from this store - it's too good to be true.

You have repaired my 3 seater couch twice and it's broken again! The arm is loose. Also, the one seater is broken.
I'm really disappointed in your quality as my suite is only 2 years old!

Unhappy with the service
I bought a couch, it's been almost 2 weeks I haven't received anything, and they said the delivery take 2 to 3 working days. But got an SMS saying this couch is delivered, so I am setting here confused. Now I have to call the shop the customer care just to get what I have paid for I will never buy for this Store again

I have purchased Canterbury piece on 08 April 2024 at Rochester Polokwane, upon receiving the goods I immediately noticed defects on the 3 seater coach, I immediately contacted the store Manager who promised that she will personally visit my house in Louis Trichardt to see for herself but that did not happen. I went to the store to report it.
After some time they come and took it for repairs but when they bring it back I was still not happy, I didn't take it back, I then decided to take the remaining two that was in my house back to the store and I requested my refund, on 09 July 2024 I went back to the store and a refund form was completed by the Store Manager and she requested for my bank statement which I immediately provided, I am still waiting for my R52 000 refund.
Your store is frustrating me, I can't be using camp chairs in my house while you're taking your time to refund me. I bought those coaches cash.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They collected the product for fixing or replacing

I have had endless problems with Rochester over the past week. I've ordered couches from them.
They lost track of my money, finally delivered the couches, but those were the wrong ones. I've been up and down, calling them for assistance; there's just no progress. I am so disgusted by this company; I regret purchasing from them. Please, whoever wants to purchase from them, don't do it.
You will regret it.
I wish I had taken advice from the reviews done on them. I regret it so much; they are disgusting and a complete scam.

I had a great time and good experience buying for the first time in Rochester at Ferndale in particular. The customer care I received from Jeff was exceptionally, very good.
He knows how to talk to the client and giving you good information about the product. I bought my Lexi couch, and he even went out of the way to fetch it from the warehouse.
I'm one of the happy clients. Jeff Jayson is the best?!!?

Horrible service delivery
I bought couches on the 4th of August, I got confirmation that they will be delivered on the 10th of August, till today MY LIVING ROOM IS EMPTY, every morning before 8am, a guy calls and confirm they are on their way to deliver, i sit the whole day waiting on them, NO ONE SHOWS UP, i am soo pissed and frustrated on your horrible service

7 calls to customer service,
logged 3 complaints.The relevant team will contact me within 24h I was told. Still waiting...
Complaints was escalated twice.
Still no feedback...
Received two SMS's that my order is out for delivery, never happened...
Still waiting for a call or any form of comminication... Absolute worst customer service.
